Ryan Lindgren and Will Cuylle each found the net in the third period, leading the New York Rangers to a 2-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday night.
Jonathan Quick recorded 30 saves for the Rangers, who bounced back after a loss to Florida on Thursday. Olen Zellweger scored for the Ducks, with Lukas Dostal making 30 saves in the game.
Lindgren opened the scoring with a goal 4:13 into the third period, and Cuylle increased the advantage to 2-0 with 8:07 left. Shortly after, Zellweger scored a power-play goal, reducing the deficit.
Quick stopped Mason McTavish on two breakaways during the second period and made several important saves late in the contest to ensure the victory.
The Rangers improved their home record to 2-1-1 and maintained a perfect 4-0-0 record on the road. They are scheduled to play in Washington on Tuesday.
The Ducks experienced their third defeat in four games and are set to compete against New Jersey on Sunday.
