Lorentz Steps In as Lomberg Misses Game 2 of Panthers vs. Lightning Series Due to Illness

Ryan Lomberg, a forward for the Florida Panthers, will be unavailable for Game 2 against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Tuesday due to health reasons, as stated by coach Paul Maurice.

Steven Lorentz is set to join the Panthers' lineup, stepping in after their 3-2 victory over the Lightning in the initial game of the Eastern Conference first-round series, which is set to include seven games.

At 29 years old, Lomberg achieved seven points, comprising five goals and two assists, over the course of 75 games this season. During Sunday's game in Sunrise, Florida, he managed to get one shot on goal within a playtime of 6:32.

Meanwhile, 28-year-old Lorentz contributed to the season with three points, including one goal and two assists, accumulated across 38 games.
