The Celtics managed a comeback victory over the Heat, overcoming a 15-point shortfall to triumph with a score of 100-96 on Tuesday evening.
Jayson Tatum was instrumental for the Celtics, contributing 29 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jaylen Brown also added 24 points, while Marcus Smart contributed 18 points to the team's success.
For the Heat, Jimmy Butler was the standout player, recording 25 points and securing 8 rebounds. Bam Adebayo also made an impact with his 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Despite their struggles from beyond the arc, shooting only 27.3%, the Celtics excelled by outrebounding the Heat 50-34 and forcing 19 turnovers from their opponents.
