Pierre-Luc Dubois and Matt Roy found the back of the net for the first time in several weeks, helping the Los Angeles Kings secure a 3-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. This win helped the Kings to stay in third place within the Pacific Division.
Kevin Fiala contributed a goal to the Kings' tally, marking their fifth victory in six games. Goalie David Rittich stopped 28 shots.
For Anaheim, Trevor Zegras managed to score, even though the Ducks have been struggling recently, losing four out of their last five matches. Goalkeeper Lukas Dostal made 25 saves.
The game's first goal came from Dubois during a power play in the second period, followed by Roy's goal eight minutes later to widen the lead. In the third period, Zegras narrowed the gap by scoring for the Ducks, but Fiala's late goal ensured the Kings' win.
The Kings were without their captain Anze Kopitar because of an injury. The Ducks are set to face Vegas in their season finale on Thursday, while the Kings will welcome Minnesota to their home ice on Monday.
