San Jose Sharks News & Updates

Macklin Celebrini, who was chosen as the top overall draft pick, is preparing to make his comeback on Tuesday for the San Jose Sharks in their game against Columbus. The 18-year-old forward has been out of action since suffering a lower-body injury during his NHL debut in October.

In the season opener against the St. Louis Blues, Celebrini scored a goal and provided an assist. Unfortunately, he was unable to practice the next day and was placed on injured reserve on October 12th. He resumed team activities on Halloween.

In Celebrini's absence, the Sharks have faced difficulties, recording a 3-8-2 record. Nonetheless, they managed to end a losing streak by achieving three consecutive victories last week.

During his only season at Boston University, Celebrini earned the Hobey Baker Award. He played a crucial role in leading the Terriers to the NCAA Frozen Four, accumulating 64 points over 38 games.
