In an exciting matchup at Yankee Stadium, the New York Yankees emerged victorious over the Boston Red Sox with a 4-2 scoreline. The Yankees took an early advantage by scoring three runs in the first inning. Despite the Red Sox leveling the score in the fourth inning, the Yankees reclaimed their lead in the fifth and maintained it throughout the game.
