On Thursday Night Football, the Washington Commanders emerged victorious over the Chicago Bears with a score of 12-7 in a game characterized by minimal scoring.
The match was riddled with mistakes as each team committed ten penalties and two turnovers. The Commanders managed to score their only touchdown in the second quarter when Taylor Heinicke connected with Terry McLaurin for a 19-yard pass.
The Bears managed to equalize with a touchdown in the third quarter, courtesy of a run by Justin Fields, but they failed to add more points thereafter.
