Boston Bruins News & Updates

Boston Bruins' leader Brad Marchand is currently on a day-to-day status due to an upper-body injury, a result of an encounter with Sam Bennett of the Florida Panthers during Game 3. There's a debate on whether Bennett's actions were excessive, yet the NHL's player safety committee decided against taking any disciplinary action.

Bruins' coach, Jim Montgomery, pointed out that Bennett has a history of similar incidents, even though Bennett had just come back from an injury himself when this happened.

On the other hand, Florida's coach, Paul Maurice, contested the idea that Bennett hit Marchand intentionally.

Despite having played for more than ten minutes, Marchand had to exit the game because of the injury. In light of Marchand's absence, Charlie Coyle sees this as a chance for the rest of the team to demonstrate their capabilities.
