Matt Boldy, forward for the Minnesota Wild, is dealing with a lower-body injury and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks.
The 23-year-old might be unavailable for the season's opening game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on October 10th.
Last season, Boldy achieved a career-best of 69 points, including 29 goals and 40 assists, in his third year with the Wild. Since being selected 12th overall in the 2019 draft, he has compiled 171 points, consisting of 75 goals and 96 assists, across 203 games for Minnesota.
