McCann's Overtime Goal Lifts Kraken to 4-3 Victory Over Golden Knights

In Seattle, the Kraken secured a 4-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights when Jared McCann scored just 29 seconds into overtime.

The Kraken's Brandon Tanev netted two goals, and Oliver Bjorkstrand contributed one more, helping the team end their four-game skid. Meanwhile, Joey Daccord was solid in goal, recording 21 saves.

For the Golden Knights, Nicolas Roy notched a goal and an assist, with Alex Pietrangelo and Pavel Dorofeyev also finding the back of the net. Jack Eichel provided three assists, and Adin Hill completed the night with 28 saves.

Pietrangelo's goal came with just 1:22 left in the third period, bringing the game to a 3-3 tie.

A pivotal moment occurred when Tanev intercepted a pass from Vegas and scored on a breakaway to start the Kraken's comeback.

Tanev's second goal was his first since his March 21, 2023 game against Dallas.

Next up, the Golden Knights will welcome Carolina on Monday, while Seattle hosts Columbus on Tuesday.
