Vancouver Canucks News & Updates

In Vancouver, a late goal from J.T. Miller with just 31.9 seconds left on the clock secured a 3-2 win for the Vancouver Canucks against the Edmonton Oilers.

Contributing to Vancouver's victory, Carson Soucy and Phillip Di Giuseppe also found the back of the net, edging the team closer to a spot in the Western Conference Final. Goalie Arturs Silovs played a crucial role, saving 21 shots for the Canucks.

When the score was locked at 2-2, a shot from Vancouver's Pius Suter ricocheted off Elias Pettersson, hitting the post before Miller capitalized on the rebound, scoring his third playoff goal.

For the Oilers, Evander Kane and Mattias Janmark managed to score, with goalie Calvin Pickard stopping 32 shots.

The match saw both teams’ ability to respond, with Soucy equalizing in the first period following an early goal by Kane, set up by Leon Draisaitl. Although Janmark pushed Edmonton ahead, Di Giuseppe drew things level in the second period. Despite a near miss from McDavid towards the end, Edmonton couldn't clinch the lead again.

Throughout the game, Edmonton struggled with power plays, failing to capitalize on five opportunities, while Vancouver also didn't score on their four chances.
