The Minnesota Wild have signed goaltender Jesper Wallstedt to a two-year contract extension worth $4.4 million, starting from the 2025-26 season.

Currently 21 years old, Wallstedt will fulfill his existing contract before the new one takes effect. During his NHL debut last season, he participated in three games, achieving two victories and one defeat, with a save percentage of .897 and a goals-against average of 3.01.
