Jagger Firkus of the Moose Jaw Warriors earned the distinction of David Branch Player of the Year at the Canadian Hockey League awards. Leading the league in scoring with 126 points, he played a crucial role in guiding Moose Jaw to the Western Hockey League championship and achieving a spot in the Memorial Cup semifinals.

Firkus described the season as exceptional, emphasizing the strong camaraderie among his teammates.

Finalists for the award included Easton Cowan from the London Knights and Mathieu Cataford from the Halifax Mooseheads. Zayne Parekh from Saginaw was honored as the top defenseman, and William Rousseau from the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies received the top goalie accolade.
