After a disappointing 5-2 defeat to Detroit on Saturday, Nashville Predators' summer recruit Steven Stamkos highlighted the need for the team to improve while remaining optimistic about the remainder of the season.
The Predators broke their losing streak on Tuesday by securing a 4-0 win against the Boston Bruins, with Juuse Saros achieving 33 saves. Both Ryan O'Reilly and Luke Evangelista made significant contributions by scoring a goal and providing an assist each. Additionally, Tommy Novak and Gustav Nyquist found the back of the net.
Gustav Nyquist, who netted his first goal of the season, discussed his decision to try a different tactic after previously hitting the post and the crossbar.
Juuse Saros registered his 25th career shutout, while Boston's Jeremy Swayman stopped 38 shots. O'Reilly managed to end Swayman's shutout streak in Nashville by scoring in the first period, halting the streak at 136 minutes and 34 seconds.
