Nashville Predators News & Updates

In a significant performance, Nashville Predators goalkeeper Juuse Saros guided his team to a dominant 4-0 win against the Boston Bruins, successfully breaking their losing streak at the start of the season. Saros achieved 33 saves during the match with Ryan O'Reilly and Luke Evangelista each adding a goal and an assist to the score. Contributions also came from Tommy Novak and Gustav Nyquist, who both managed to score for the Predators.

Despite a strong effort, Jeremy Swayman was unable to prevent the 38 shots he faced for the Bruins, who have yet to score in their seven games this season. These challenges have persisted even after offseason surgeries for their captain, Brad Marchand.

A pivotal moment occurred when Novak took advantage of a double minor penalty charged to Boston’s Charlie McAvoy, scoring mere seconds after the penalty ended.

Although Swayman had recorded previous shutouts in Nashville, O'Reilly’s goal broke his Bridgestone Arena shutout streak, which had lasted over two hours.

Looking ahead, the Bruins are set to host the Dallas Stars on Thursday, while the Predators will travel to Chicago on Friday to compete against the Blackhawks.
