Nashville Predators News & Updates

Filip Forsberg and Jonathan Marchessault both netted two goals, leading Juuse Saros and the Nashville Predators to triumph over Utah with a score of 4-0 on Saturday evening.

Saros made 26 saves to achieve his second shutout of the season, while Roman Josi added two assists for the Predators, who had recently suffered defeat in their last three games.

Connor Ingram registered 17 saves for Utah, which has lost three out of their previous four matches. Saros and Forsberg have played crucial roles for the Predators, who currently hold a record of 5-9-1.

The highlight save from Saros was his stop against a Nick Schmaltz attempt early in the first period, following Forsberg's goal that put Nashville ahead.

Utah hasn't managed to score in two of their last three games and has been shut out four times this season.

The Predators secured an important victory after enduring a series of defeats and are about to start a two-week road journey with hopes of building momentum.

The critical moment occurred when Marchessault scored a power-play goal in the first period, after Utah had successfully managed to fend off a 5-on-3 power play for Nashville.

Utah has been unable to capitalize on two power-play chances, extending their sequence of games to nine, with only two power-play goals out of 26 attempts.

Utah is set to take on the Carolina Hurricanes on Wednesday, while the Predators will commence a five-game road stint in Colorado on Monday.
