Dallas claimed victory in the season opener against Nashville with a 4-3 scoreline. The team showcased an impressive performance in the second period, scoring three quick goals.
Mason Marchment was the top scorer for Dallas, netting two goals, while Roope Hintz and Jason Robertson each added one. Logan Stankoven was instrumental with three assists in the win.
Filip Forsberg initiated the scoring for Nashville in the second period and assisted on another goal. Tommy Novak and Ryan O'Reilly also found the net for the Predators, who struggled despite a late goal by O'Reilly with an extra attacker on the ice.
