Nashville Predators Secure 4-1 Victory Against Winnipeg Jets with Josi's Double and Marchessault's Offensive Burst

Roman Josi found the back of the net twice, while Jonathan Marchessault contributed with both a goal and an assist, leading the Nashville Predators to a 4-1 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.

Steven Stamkos added a goal, and Juuse Saros recorded 22 saves for the Predators, who secured a victory in two of their last three games.

For the Jets, Adam Lowry managed to score, and Eric Comrie made 32 saves, but their recent two-game winning streak was halted.

Stamkos scored during a power play in the third period, marking his sixth power-play goal of the season out of seven total.

A crucial moment saw Marchessault scoring less than two minutes after Stamkos, extending Nashville's lead to two goals.

Before Saturday, Marchessault hadn't tallied any points in 5-on-5 play, but his contributions with a goal and an assist came while both teams were at even strength.

The Jets concluded their first set of consecutive games with mixed results, while the Predators gained confidence by defeating one of the top teams in the NHL.

Winnipeg is set to face Minnesota on Monday, while Nashville will head to New Jersey on the same day.
