Vancouver Canucks News & Updates

Filip Forsberg and Anthony Beauvillier were standout players, each netting a goal and providing an assist, leading the Nashville Predators to a 4-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday evening. This win evened out their playoff series at one game apiece.

The scoring efforts for the Predators were bolstered by Colton Sissons and Kiefer Sherwood, with Juuse Saros contributing 17 saves. On the Canucks' side, Nikita Zadorov was the lone scorer, in a game where Vancouver missed the presence of their lead goaltender, Thatcher Demko, due to an injury.

The game's momentum was set early on by Forsberg, who scored just over a minute into play, followed by Beauvillier's power-play goal in the second period. Shortly after, Sissons widened the gap, until Zadorov cut the deficit to two. The win was finally cemented for Nashville by Sherwood with an empty-net goal during the final period. Power play opportunities yielded no results for either team, with a combined total of eight failed attempts.

With the series leveled, the teams are now preparing for Game 3, which will be hosted in Nashville this coming Friday.
