Nashville Predators secured a 5-2 win against the Colorado Avalanche with Roman Josi, Steven Stamkos, and Gustav Nyquist each contributing both a goal and an assist.
Adding to the scoreline for Nashville were Colton Sissons and Filip Forsberg, while their goalkeeper Juuse Saros made 28 saves. On the Avalanche side, Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon recorded a goal and an assist each.
In the second period, Makar scored first during a power play, but Josi then equalized with his first goal of the season, sparking a comeback for Nashville.
Sissons' goal late in the second period put the Predators in the lead as they headed into the break.
Taking advantage of their power-play opportunities, Nashville scored twice while Colorado's penalty kill success dipped below 70%. This game marked Sissons' first point of the season over 11 games.
Makar and MacKinnon have managed to secure at least one point in each of the 12 games Colorado has played, marking the second-longest such streak for a forward-defenseman pair at the start of a season in NHL history.
Looking ahead, the Avalanche will welcome Seattle on Tuesday, and the Predators will meet Los Angeles on Monday.
