Chicago Blackhawks News & Updates

In October, a new television network called Chicago Sports Network (CHSN) will debut, dedicated to covering the Blackhawks, Bulls, and White Sox.

The network has plans to broadcast over 300 live games annually. Besides the live games, it will also feature pre- and post-game coverage and offer 24/7 multisport programming.

This network is a joint venture between the teams and Standard Media, and it will broadcast from studios located in the United Center and Guaranteed Rate Field.

In the initial phase, CHSN will air Blackhawks and Bulls preseason games in October. White Sox games are set to join the lineup in 2025, with NBC Sports Chicago continuing to air White Sox games throughout 2024.

Subject to league approval, CHSN aims to cover most of Illinois, and extend its broadcast reach into parts of Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

The network will be accessible through various cable providers, streaming services, and free over-the-air broadcasts.

Jason Coyle, the president of CHSN, underscores that the network's design prioritizes fan satisfaction.

Standard Media, CHSN's partner, owns and operates four media stations across different regions in the country.
