Returning from an injury, Aleksander Barkov played a crucial role in leading the Florida Panthers to a 5-2 triumph over the Buffalo Sabres.
Carter Verhaeghe netted the pivotal goal late in the second period, extending his point streak to seven games. Meanwhile, Jesper Boqvist and Sam Reinhart secured early goals for the Panthers.
Sergei Bobrovsky made 26 saves, playing a key part in Florida's impressive 6-1-1 run.
Buffalo's Rasmus Dahlin and Jason Zucker managed to equalize the game during the second period. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen stopped 25 shots for the Sabres.
In their previous visit to Buffalo, the Panthers were missing several key players, but this time they showed marked improvement.
The Sabres were unable to secure what could have been their fourth straight victory.
Capitalizing on a rebound, Verhaeghe's goal ultimately determined the game's outcome.
The Panthers have now achieved five consecutive road victories, marking their longest streak since last season.
