Anze Kopitar, Trevor Moore, and Kevin Fiala each contributed with a goal and an assist, leading the Los Angeles Kings to their third win in a row, defeating the Ottawa Senators 5-2.
Alex Laferriere and Adrian Kempe also managed to score for Los Angeles, and David Rittich made 20 saves in goal.
Kopitar ended the 1-1 deadlock early in the third period with a goal scored from close range. Kempe then scored during a power play, and Moore secured the victory with a goal into an empty net.
For the Senators, Adam Gaudette kept his goal streak alive at three games, and Tim Stutzle added another goal. Anton Forsberg made 22 saves in net for Ottawa.
Gaudette reached his career-high goal total, which he achieved with the Vancouver Canucks in the 2019-20 season. Moore returned to play for the Kings after missing a game due to sickness, while Trevor Lewis suffered a lower-body injury during the first period.
Kopitar's goal in the third period was crucial in giving the Kings the advantage. He also provided an assist later, moving past Peter Stastný in career NHL points.
Stutzle and Drake Batherson kept their point streaks going for Ottawa, extending each to six consecutive games.
The Senators will wrap up their tour of California in Anaheim on Sunday, while the Kings are set to face Dallas at home on Wednesday.
