Edmonton Oilers News & Updates

The Edmonton Oilers are focused on extending the Stanley Cup Final after their upcoming Game 5 on Tuesday night, with the goal of bringing the Florida Panthers back to Alberta for Game 6.

Captain Connor McDavid motivated the team by stating "drag them back to Alberta" following their victory in Game 4.

Despite the challenging transcontinental flights, McDavid feels that making the Panthers endure another trip would be worthwhile, especially given the enthusiastic support they would receive in Edmonton for Game 6.

The Oilers have encountered significant challenges against the Panthers, who dominated them with a 7-1 score in the first two games, but they have a history of stronger performances in the later parts of series.

Edmonton's goalie, Stuart Skinner, excelled in Games 4-7, while Florida's Sergei Bobrovsky remains a strong adversary.

The Oilers believe in their capacity to overcome difficulties and continue their comeback, aiming to be only the fourth team in NHL history to force a Game 6 after trailing 3-0.
