Mattias Janmark and Leon Draisaitl scored within a 51-second span during the second period, playing a crucial role in the Edmonton Oilers' 5-2 victory over the Dallas Stars in Game 4 of the Western Conference final.

Janmark equalized the game on a short-handed breakaway assisted by Connor Brown, followed by Draisaitl notching his 10th goal of the postseason.

Additional goals for Edmonton came from Ryan McLeod, Evan Bouchard, and Mattias Ekholm, while Connor McDavid contributed two assists. Stuart Skinner made 20 saves in net.

Dallas initially took a 2-0 lead with goals from Wyatt Johnson and Esa Lindell, but McLeod and Bouchard countered late in the first period for Edmonton.

The Oilers successfully killed their 23rd consecutive penalty before Ekholm secured the win with an empty-net goal.

Jake Oettinger recorded 24 saves for Dallas, which will host Game 5 on Friday night.

Edmonton made strategic changes to their lineup, adding defenseman Philip Broberg, along with McLeod and Corey Perry.

Dallas suffered a setback when defenseman Chris Tanev left the game in the second period due to a lower-body injury and did not return.
