The Ottawa Senators have officially named Travis Green as their head coach for the upcoming four seasons, with his formal introduction planned for Wednesday in Ottawa. At 53 years old, Green comes to the Senators with a coaching record of 141 wins, 159 losses, and 35 ties. He previously held the head coaching position with the Vancouver Canucks from 2017 until 2021, during which time he led the team to the playoffs in 2020. Additionally, he has experience as an assistant coach for the New Jersey Devils during the 2023-24 season and briefly took on the role of interim head coach. Green is stepping in to replace Jacques Martin, who served as the interim head coach following the dismissal of DJ Smith in December. Under Martin's guidance, the Senators recorded 8 wins, 20 losses, and 1 tie this season, ending up seventh in the Atlantic Division. All logos are the trademark & property of their owners and not NHL-Schedules.com.
