Florida Panthers News & Updates

The Florida Panthers reached Edmonton for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final after facing travel delays caused by heavy rain in South Florida.

Panthers forward Kyle Okposo found the concern about the delays amusing, mentioning that such delays happen often during the regular season without much attention.

The team's charter flight arrived two hours late, but the players stayed calm and spent the time watching movies, sleeping, and playing cards.

Coach Paul Maurice highlighted that the team gained an extra hour of practice time and enjoyed a meal before their flight.

The Panthers played down the impact of the delay on their preparations, saying they were still able to get a good night's sleep.

Coach Maurice acknowledged the severe weather in South Florida but noted the team's experience was relatively minor.
