Peyton Krebs Signs Two-Year Contract Extension with Buffalo Sabres

Peyton Krebs, a restricted free agent forward, has secured a two-year deal valued at $2.9 million with the Buffalo Sabres.

At 23 years old, Krebs contributed 17 points (4 goals and 13 assists) to the Sabres last season, alongside 67 penalty minutes across 80 games.

In his career, Krebs has accumulated 66 points (20 goals and 46 assists) in 215 games, playing for both the Vegas Golden Knights and the Buffalo Sabres.

The Golden Knights originally picked Krebs 17th overall in the 2019 NHL draft. On November 4, 2021, they traded Krebs, Alex Tuch, and two draft picks to Buffalo in exchange for Jack Eichel.
