St. Louis Blues News & Updates

In a thrilling overtime, Matvei Michkov scored just 26 seconds in, leading the Philadelphia Flyers to a 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues.

The Flyers also benefited from goals by Owen Tippett and Tyson Foerster, with Aleksei Kolosov making 25 saves to support the victory.

Jake Neighbours managed to equalize the score for St. Louis with only 19 seconds left in regulation, but Michkov's swift overtime goal clinched the game for Philadelphia.

St. Louis saw Dylan Holloway score in the third period, and their goalie, Jordan Binnington, successfully stopped 28 shots.

The Flyers have now achieved a 4-0-1 record over their last five games and have posted an 8-3-2 record since their Halloween win against the Blues.

Sean Couturier's point streak, which lasted four games, ended, while Philip Broberg made his return to the Blues lineup after a 12-game absence due to a lower body injury.

Despite Binnington's two key saves late in the second period, St. Louis couldn't stop the Flyers from securing the overtime win.

Looking ahead, the Blues are set to begin a four-game road trip in Winnipeg, while the Flyers will next face Florida at home on Thursday.
