Pittsburgh Penguins Move Forward Kevin Hayes to Injured Reserve Due to Upper-Body Injury

The Pittsburgh Penguins have placed forward Kevin Hayes on the injured reserve list as of Monday due to an upper-body injury. This decision is made retroactively to his last appearance on November 5, which could allow him to make a return on Wednesday against Detroit.

According to Coach Mike Sullivan, Hayes' condition is classified as week-to-week.

Hayes, who is 32 years old and in his first season with the Penguins, has achieved three goals and one assist in 14 games. Over the course of his career, he has collected a total of 419 points (171 goals and 248 assists) across 727 games played for five different teams since being selected in the first round of the 2010 draft.
