Nashville Predators News & Updates

During the Devils' defeat to the Predators at 3-2, goaltender Kaapo Kahkonen incurred an unspecified injury in the initial period.

Following the equalizing goal by Roman Josi, Kahkonen exited the game with the help of the training staff, having successfully stopped four shots. He was then substituted by Jake Allen.

Since being transferred from San Jose in March, Kahkonen has played five games for the Devils, achieving a record of 1 win and 3 losses with a goals-against average of 2.92. His contract is due to expire in July, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Center Curtis Lazar was absent from the lineup due to an injury and might not play again this season, as stated by interim coach Travis Green. Lazar experienced an upper-body injury during the victory against Ottawa on Saturday.
