Despite facing penalties and disciplinary issues in the first period, the Rangers managed to secure a 4-2 lead heading into the third period.

The timeout called by Laviolette helped change the momentum for New York, with Shesterkin remaining solid in overtime and Wennberg delivering the decisive goal.

Even though Florida had 108 shots, the Rangers successfully held on to secure the win.
