New York Rangers News & Updates

Kaapo Kakko rejoined the New York Rangers lineup for the third game of the Eastern Conference finals against the Florida Panthers on Sunday, stepping in for the injured Jimmy Vesey.

This marked Kakko's second game in the series. Vesey has been designated as week-to-week following his injury from a collision with Florida's Ryan Lomberg during the second game on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.

Kakko was not part of the lineup for Game 2. During the regular season, he scored 13 goals and provided six assists, adding one goal and one assist in the first 11 playoff games this year leading up to Sunday's game.

The Panthers maintained their existing lineup for Game 3.
