Mikko Rantanen steered the Colorado Avalanche to a commanding 6-2 win against the Calgary Flames by netting two goals and delivering two assists, marking his longest point streak of 10 games to date. Contributions also came from Valeri Nichushkin, Nathan MacKinnon, Josh Manson, and Casey Mittelstadt, adding to Colorado's tally.

MacKinnon, on a hot streak, pushed his point run to 13 games and played a pivotal role in Rantanen's second score. This victory positioned the Avalanche as the Central Division's second-place team, trailing Dallas by two points.

On the Flames' side, Daniil Miromanov and Walker Duehr managed to score amidst a challenging game, marking their third consecutive loss. Between the posts, Justus Annunen defended Colorado's net with 25 saves, while Calgary's Dan Vladar faced a testing night, letting in six goals from 35 attempts.

Looking ahead, the Avalanche are set to face off against Vancouver on Wednesday, whereas the Flames will welcome Vegas on Thursday for their next matchup.
