Dallas Stars News & Updates

Jason Robertson made a notable impact with a goal and two assists to help the Dallas Stars secure a 5-2 win against the San Jose Sharks. Roope Hintz and Wyatt Johnston each contributed with a goal and an assist, while Jamie Benn, Evgenii Dadonov, and Mikael Granlund also scored for the Stars. Jake Oettinger contributed to the victory by making 20 saves.

On the Sharks' side, Jake Walman scored, and Mackenzie Blackwood was able to stop 26 shots. During the third period, Granlund was injured following a hit by Ilya Lyubushkin.

Macklin Celebrini, who was the top draft pick last summer, showed a strong performance despite the Sharks' defeat.

Although the Stars had a subpar performance on power plays, they continue to excel at home, holding an 8-2 record.

The Sharks had a crucial chance to equalize the score in the latter part of the third period, but they were unable to capitalize on it.

The Stars have been defeated only once on their home ice this season.

Looking ahead, the Sharks will play against St. Louis on Thursday, while the Stars are set to face Tampa Bay on Saturday.
