Philadelphia Flyers News & Updates

Sean Couturier, the captain of the Philadelphia Flyers, made his comeback on the ice in Saturday's game against the Boston Bruins after not playing in the previous two matches.

The Flyers had been without Couturier since their victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday and the subsequent overtime defeat to the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday.

In a change to the lineup, Couturier stepped in for Nicolas Deslauriers, amidst a challenging period for the Flyers who have experienced 10 losses in their recent 16 matches, putting their rank in the Metropolitan Division at risk.

Even with the team's struggles, Couturier has managed to secure 36 points this season and has collected a total of 496 points throughout his career with the Flyers, the team that selected him in the 2011 draft.
