Seattle Kraken Signs Forward Eeli Tolvanen to Two-Year Deal, Strengthening Roster

The Seattle Kraken have agreed to a two-year contract with restricted free agent Eeli Tolvanen, valued at $6.95 million.

Tolvanen, initially drafted by Nashville, settled in Seattle after being claimed off waivers last season. During his time with the Kraken, he has accumulated 32 goals and 36 assists over 129 games.

In the previous season, Tolvanen achieved personal bests with 41 points and 25 assists. With his contract finalized, Matty Beniers is now Seattle's only remaining restricted free agent.

In addition, the Kraken have secured a three-year entry-level contract with first-round draft pick Berkly Catton. Chosen eighth overall in the recent draft, Catton had a standout season with the Spokane Chiefs, amassing 116 points.
