Ottawa Senators News & Updates

In a dramatic showdown on Sunday night, Jakob Chychrun's late power-play goal led the Ottawa Senators to a 5-3 victory against the Edmonton Oilers, clinching the win just moments before the final buzzer.

For the Senators, Stutzle, Batherson, and Chychrun each found the back of the net, with goalie Korpisalo stopping 33 shots to contribute to Ottawa's win.

On the Edmonton side, despite a milestone 50th goal from Hyman and two assists by McDavid, pushing his assist tally to 91 for the season, efforts from Henrique and Draisaitl were not enough to come out on top. In goal, Pickard made 11 saves for the Oilers.

Evander Kane did not participate in the game for the Oilers, taking a day off for maintenance.

Looking ahead, Edmonton is set to square off against Winnipeg on Tuesday, and Ottawa will make its way to Buffalo to play on Wednesday.
