Senators Trade Egor Sokolov to Utah for Jan Jenik

The Ottawa Senators have completed a trade with the Utah Hockey Club to acquire Jan Jenik in exchange for Egor Sokolov. Jenik, aged 23, has contributed four goals and two assists in 22 games for the Arizona Coyotes over the past four seasons. He was originally selected by Arizona in the 2018 draft and hails from the Czech Republic.
On the other hand, Egor Sokolov, aged 24, registered one goal and one assist in 13 games for the Senators during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. Sokolov was drafted by Ottawa in the second round of the 2020 draft and is originally from Russia.
