Sharks Rookie Macklin Celebrini to Make Historic Return from Injury as NHL's Youngest Player with Two-Point Debut

The San Jose Sharks have confirmed that rookie Macklin Celebrini will rejoin the team's activities on Thursday.

Drafted first overall in the NHL draft, Celebrini sustained a lower-body injury during his NHL debut, which occurred shortly after he scored a goal and provided an assist in an overtime match against the St. Louis Blues.

According to the team, Celebrini has shown improvement over the past few weeks and is now categorized as week-to-week.

During his debut, Celebrini set a record as the youngest player in NHL history to achieve two points in the first period of his inaugural game.
