St. Louis Blues Trade for Alexandre Texier from Columbus, Sign Two-Year Extension

On Friday, the St. Louis Blues secured the services of Alexandre Texier from the Columbus Blue Jackets, trading a fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL draft as part of the deal.

Following the acquisition, the Blues promptly extended Texier's contract for two more years, valued at $4.2 million overall, with an average annual salary of $2.1 million.

Texier, a player originally picked by Columbus in the 2017 draft, accounted for 79 points, including 34 goals and 45 assists, over 201 games during his tenure with the Blue Jackets.

At 24 years old, the center has also represented France in four IIHF World Championships and two IIHF World Junior Championships.
