Stars Face Off Against Islanders in NHL Season Opener

The Dallas Stars recently secured a 4-3 victory over the Nashville Predators, with Mason Marchment contributing two goals, and are now set to face the New York Islanders.
Dallas had an overall record of 52-21-9 last season and performed well at home with a 30-15-6 record. Their power-play efficiency stood at an impressive 24.2 percent.
In contrast, the Islanders concluded last season with a 39-27-16 record overall and struggled somewhat on the road, finishing with an 18-20-6 record. They allowed an average of 3.2 goals per game while scoring 3.0 goals on average.
At present, neither the Stars nor the Islanders have any reported player injuries.
