The goal by Robertson in the second period gave the Stars a lead they maintained, culminating in a 3-2 win against the Vegas Golden Knights during Wednesday night's Game 5. This win gave the Dallas team the series lead after initially facing four consecutive losses.

Oettinger’s performance has been formidable, effectively stopping all 55 shots in the third period or overtime throughout the series. Hill, the Golden Knights' goalie, made 22 saves.
