Tanner Pearson, a forward, signed a one-year contract valued at $775,000 with the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday. In the preseason, the 32-year-old made an impact with two goals, an assist, and achieved a plus-4 rating across four games while participating in training camp on a tryout basis.
During the previous season with the Montreal Canadiens, Pearson accumulated 13 points, comprising five goals and eight assists across 54 games. He is noted for winning a Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings during the 2013-14 season.
Throughout his NHL career, which spans 644 games, Pearson has collected 285 points, including 138 goals and 147 assists. He has played for several teams, such as the Kings, Pittsburgh Penguins, Vancouver Canucks, and the Canadiens. The Kings selected him as the 30th overall pick in the 2012 NHL draft.
