Ted Lindsay Award Nominees Announced: Auston Matthews, Nathan MacKinnon, and Nikita Kucherov Compete for Premier Player Accolade

Auston Matthews, Nathan MacKinnon, and Nikita Kucherov have been selected as contenders for the Ted Lindsay Award, an honor determined by votes from NHL players to recognize the most exceptional player in the league.

Matthews, the previous year's recipient, had another impressive season, topping the NHL with a total of 69 goals and accumulating 107 points across 81 games while playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In the league, MacKinnon was the runner-up in scoring with a remarkable total of 140 points, comprising 51 goals and 89 assists, from 82 games for the Colorado Avalanche.

Kucherov broke the Tampa Bay Lightning's team record and led the league by securing 144 points, which included 44 goals and 100 assists, over 81 games.
