On Tuesday, Tomas Hertl propelled the Vegas Golden Knights to a commanding 6-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings. His contribution of two goals and two assists ended Vegas' losing streak and kept their flawless home record intact for the season.

Vegas' victory was further supported by Mark Stone, Pavel Dorofeyev, Alexander Holtz, and Ivan Barbashev, each netting a goal. Goaltender Ilya Samsonov delivered an impressive performance, stopping 31 shots.

The Kings' sole goal came from Warren Foegele, while David Rittich managed to save 24 attempts in their seventh straight road game.

The Golden Knights seized control in the first period with a rapid three-goal burst within a span of 6:05 minutes. Hertl initiated the scoring spree, followed by goals from Stone and Dorofeyev, giving them an early lead.

Hertl's efforts were significant, matching his career best with four points in a game, a feat he last accomplished while playing for San Jose in 2022.

Vegas is set to host Ottawa on Friday, while the Kings are returning home on Thursday for a matchup against San Jose.
