Max Pacioretty, a player with the Toronto Maple Leafs, has been added to the injured reserve list following a lower-body injury that has left him sidelined on a week-to-week basis.

The injury Pacioretty is dealing with occurred in the first period of a match against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday. According to TSN, he will be out of action for a significant amount of time.

This season marks Pacioretty's first with Toronto, during which he has accumulated six points over 13 games. Over his 17-season career with five different teams, including a significant ten-year stint with the Montreal Canadiens, he has achieved a total of 674 points.
