Los Angeles defeated Minnesota with a score of 5-1. Trevor Lewis contributed two goals, and Kevin Fiala added a goal during a power play.
Warren Foegele and Quinton Byfield also scored for the Kings, who were playing their second game in two nights, having won against Nashville the night before.
Kevin Fiala, who was traded from Minnesota to Los Angeles last year, notched his seventh goal of the season. He has accumulated nine points over the last seven games against his former team, the Wild.
Despite taking the initial lead, Minnesota faltered, allowing Los Angeles to claim its fifth victory in seven games. This game marked the first instance this season where the Wild lost after scoring first.
Fiala's goal was pivotal in giving Los Angeles an advantage, with Alex Laferriere setting up the opportunity for Fiala, who was unguarded in the slot.
Minnesota's power play, previously ranked 11th, has been ineffective lately, failing to score on any of its four attempts on Tuesday, continuing a streak of 14 unsuccessful attempts.
Next up, Los Angeles will compete against Vancouver, while Minnesota will head to San Jose for their next match.
