In a standout performance, Linus Ullmark made 32 saves and also contributed an assist to Charlie Coyle's short-handed goal, propelling the Boston Bruins to a 3-0 win against the Nashville Predators.
In the third period, both David Pastrnak and Pavel Zacha scored a goal and provided an assist apiece, further consolidating the Bruins' lead by four points in the Atlantic Division.
Ullmark highlighted the exceptional effort put in by the team throughout the entire 60 minutes, praising their ability to steer clear of frustration. On the opposite side, Juuse Saros blocked 30 shots for the Predators, who faced their third straight defeat following an impressive 18-game point streak, setting a new record for the franchise.
Despite falling behind early, the Predators outplayed in the second and third periods until Coyle's significant goal came, courtesy of a remarkable pass from Ullmark. The Bruins' effective penalty kill squad denied Nashville any success in their four power play attempts.
Victory was clinched for the Bruins with goals from Zacha and Pastrnak, whereas the Predators maintain their position in the leading two wild-card spots of the Western Conference, ahead of Los Angeles and St. Louis by three and six points, respectively.
