The New York Islanders have announced that Anthony Duclair, a forward for the team, will be sidelined for a period ranging from four to six weeks due to a lower-body injury. The injury occurred during the third period of the Islanders' win against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday.
Even though Duclair has participated in only five games this season, he has already made an impact with two goals and one assist. At 29 years old, he has accumulated a total of 306 points during his 568 career games, playing for nine different teams.
Duclair was selected by the New York Rangers in the third round of the 2013 NHL Draft.
